Understanding the Threat

Why Mosquito Control
Matters in Karachi

Dengue cases surge in Karachi every monsoon season — but the Aedes mosquito breeds year-round. Understanding the threat is the first step to eliminating it.

🦟

How Dengue Spreads

Dengue fever is caused by a virus transmitted through the bite of an infected Aedes aegypti mosquito. This species breeds in small, clean, stagnant water sources — flower pots, water tanks, tyres, and air cooler trays found in every Karachi home.

🤒

Symptoms & Timeline

Symptoms appear 3–14 days after infection: high fever, severe headache, joint and muscle pain, nausea, and a distinctive skin rash. Most cases resolve in 2–7 days. In severe dengue (dengue haemorrhagic fever), complications include bleeding, platelet drop, and dangerous blood pressure loss — requiring immediate hospitalisation.

📅

Peak Season in Karachi

While mosquitoes are present year-round, dengue risk peaks during and immediately after the monsoon (July–October), when stagnant water accumulates rapidly. Pre-monsoon treatment in May–June is the most effective preventive measure.

🛡️

Prevention Over Treatment

Professional fumigation is the most effective protection available. A single comprehensive treatment — covering indoor spaces, outdoor areas, and breeding sites — dramatically reduces mosquito populations and interrupts the transmission cycle.

No vaccine currently available in Pakistan. Professional fumigation and source reduction remain the most effective preventive measures for Karachi households.

Treatment Method

A Complete Three-Zone
Fumigation Protocol

Not a single spray and done. Our mosquito fumigation covers every zone where mosquitoes live, breed, and rest — indoors, outdoors, and at the source.

Zone 1 — Indoor Electric Fogging

Rooms · Drawing Area · Dining Area · All Interior Spaces

We use a professional electric ULV fogger machine to generate a fine, penetrating mist inside your home. The mist reaches wall voids, ceiling corners, curtain folds, and furniture gaps where mosquitoes rest during the day. This method is far more effective than manual spraying for enclosed spaces.

Zone 2 — Outdoor Thermal Fogging

Gardens · Car Parking · Streets · Factory Surrounds

Outdoor areas require a denser fog to be effective. We use a large thermal fogging machine that produces a heavy, persistent fog suitable for open-air environments — gardens, boundary walls, car parks, drains, and surrounding street areas. The same method is used for large-scale commercial, factory, and street fumigation contracts.

Zone 3 — Larvicidal Treatment

Stagnant Water · Drains · Coolers · Tanks · Pots

Killing adult mosquitoes alone is temporary. Our technicians identify and treat all standing water sources — drain channels, flower pots, water coolers, overhead tank surrounds, and damp areas — with a WHO-approved larvicide. This breaks the breeding cycle and prevents re-infestation, which is what backs our 3-month warranty.

How the Treatment Unfolds

1

Property Inspection

Our technician surveys the full property — all rooms, outdoor areas, drains, and water storage — identifying breeding sites and infestation hotspots before treatment begins.

2

Pre-Treatment Preparation

You'll be guided to cover edibles, electronics, and sensitive items. We confirm the property will be sealed for 4 hours post-treatment before we start.

3

Indoor Electric Fogging

All interior spaces treated systematically room by room, including storerooms, servant quarters, and roof access areas.

4

Outdoor Thermal Fogging

Garden, boundary perimeter, parking areas, and external drain lines treated with the thermal fogger for maximum outdoor coverage.

5

Larvicidal Source Treatment

All identified standing water and breeding sites treated with larvicide. Drain channels, coolers, and pot saucers included.

6

Warranty Certificate Issued

Job complete. Written 3-month warranty in your hands. If mosquitoes return within the period — we return, at zero additional cost.

Before & After the Treatment

What You Need to Do —
And What to Expect

A few simple steps on your part ensure the treatment is maximally effective and the re-entry process is safe for your whole family.

Before the Service

Cover all food items — packaged or loose — in sealed containers or bags. Remove or cover pet food and water bowls.

Cover electronics — televisions, computers, kitchen appliances — with cloth or plastic sheeting to protect from the fine mist.

Cover medicines and sensitive items — store them in drawers or cabinets. Medical equipment should be properly covered.

Empty standing water from flower pot saucers, cooler trays, and buckets before we arrive — our team will treat and refill as needed.

Ensure everyone is ready to vacate — family members, children, and pets should be prepared to leave for approximately 4 hours.

After the Service

Keep the area sealed for 4 hours after the service is complete. Do not enter during this period to allow the treatment to settle and work fully.

Open all doors and windows after 4 hours. Ventilate the property thoroughly — run fans to circulate air and clear any residual odour.

Re-enter only when the smell has fully cleared. For most properties this takes 30–60 minutes of ventilation after the 4-hour mark.

Avoid mopping floors or wiping surfaces for 24 hours to preserve the residual effect of the treatment on resting surfaces.

Eliminate new standing water sources going forward — consistently emptying cooler trays, pot saucers, and exposed containers extends the protection window significantly.

🛡️

Odorless (Be-Bu) Treatment Available

If you have young children, elderly family members, or individuals with respiratory sensitivities at home — ask us about our odorless (be-bu) formulation. The same WHO-approved active ingredients, without the strong smell. Available on request at no extra charge for most treatments.

Why Choose Unique Fumigation

The Standard You Should
Expect From Any Pest Control Company

Most Karachi pest control companies spray once and leave. We operate differently — and the 3-month written warranty on every mosquito job is one way we hold ourselves to that standard.

📄

3-Month Written Warranty

If mosquitoes return within the warranty period, our technicians return and re-treat at zero additional cost. This is in writing — not a verbal promise.

🧪

WHO-Approved Chemicals Only

We use only WHO-certified adulticides and larvicides. No agricultural pesticides indoors. No banned chemicals — ever. Safe for families and pets when used as directed.

🪪

Background-Checked Technicians

Every team member who enters your home is identity-verified and background-checked before employment. Your household's security is a prerequisite, not an afterthought.

⚙️

Three-Zone Treatment Protocol

Indoor electric fogging, outdoor thermal treatment, and larvicidal source elimination — in one visit. Most companies do only one of these three.

How long should I stay out after mosquito fumigation?

Keep the property closed for 4 hours after treatment. After that, open all doors and windows to ventilate thoroughly. Once the smell has fully dissipated — usually 30–60 minutes of ventilation — the space is safe for all family members including children and pets to re-enter.

What is the difference between indoor fogging and outdoor thermal fogging?

Indoor electric fogging uses a ULV (ultra-low volume) machine to produce an extremely fine mist ideal for enclosed rooms — penetrating furniture gaps, curtain folds, and ceiling corners. Outdoor thermal fogging uses a larger, petrol-powered thermal machine that generates a denser, heavier fog suited for open areas like gardens, car parks, factory surrounds, and streets.

When is the best time to get mosquito fumigation in Karachi?

Pre-monsoon (May–June) is the most strategically effective time — treating before the breeding season peaks gives the larvicidal treatment maximum impact. That said, treatment is beneficial at any time of year, particularly during and after the monsoon (July–October) when dengue risk is highest in Karachi.

Is the treatment safe for children, elderly, and pets?

Yes — when used as directed, our WHO-approved formulations are safe for all household members after proper ventilation. For households with infants, elderly members, or respiratory conditions, we offer odorless (be-bu) formulations that contain the same active ingredients without the strong chemical smell. Ask us about this when booking.

How many treatments do I need per year?

Our 3-month warranty covers the period after each treatment. For Karachi homes, most clients opt for 2–3 treatments per year: one pre-monsoon, one during peak season, and one post-monsoon. Commercial properties and restaurants often schedule quarterly treatments year-round.

Do you issue fumigation certificates for dengue/mosquito treatment?

Yes. We issue official fumigation certificates — useful for commercial premises, housing societies requiring proof of treatment, health authority inspections, and corporate compliance documentation. Let us know when booking if a certificate is required.

Do you fumigate factories, offices, and large buildings?

Yes. We use large thermal fogger machines specifically for commercial and industrial properties. We have extensive experience with factories, warehouses, schools, and multi-floor office buildings across Karachi. Off-hours and weekend scheduling is available to avoid operational disruption.
